My short somewhat spoiler-free review of the novel:

Truly, a comical novel that really comes full circle. The last novel that comes full circle from Jiu Liu Fei Xiang that I’ve read was The King is Here. The novel is set in the same world as San Sheng and Siming (God of Fate/Destiny), thus you can get see the other two couples! This novel wraps up the stories from the other two novels with epilogues where you get to see the children from two couples along with our main couple, the Little Orchid and Demon King 🙂

I really like that I get to see the other two couples after their stories and I find our main couple’s journey to be full of novel experiences. I love their slow love development as noted by other readers to be more grounded and their love contrasts with the other two couples whose love was a first sight kind of thing.

It spans around 84 chapters? with what seem to be 6 epilogues? Typical of Jiu Liu Fei Xiang’s current writings style, the beginning is hilarious and then slowly develops into a more melancholy tone near the end. For me the ending was okay, but in my opinion, the epilogues are the ones that actually tie up the story properly.

I want to keep my commentary on this short since I don’t want to spoil too much lol.
